Rage room guides

These guides answer the questions people ask before they book a rage room. Every figure comes from the 232 venue listings across 45 states, so the guides change when a venue updates its prices or rules.

Start here: rage rooms 101

If you've never been, begin with rage rooms 101. It walks through a session from arrival and the waiver to the safety briefing, and it explains which tools and breakable items venues supply and which gear they hand out.

It also covers what a session costs, why some venues price per person and others per session, who can go, and how booking works.

Pregnancy and health

Smashing things is physical, so many venues set health rules. Can you use a rage room when pregnant? reports that 29 of the 232 venues list a pregnancy rule, and shows how the wording varies from not permitted to not recommended.

It lists those venues state by state and explains what to ask the venue and your doctor before you book.

Age limits

Of the 169 venues that publish a minimum age, 98 accept children aged 10 or under, and the median minimum age is 10. Are there rage rooms for under 18s? shows how many venues let in guests under 18 and which ages are most common.

It also describes what parents are asked to do, such as signing the waiver or staying on site, and links to the venues that accept the youngest guests.

The numbers

Among the venues that list a starting price per person, prices run from $10 to $75, and the typical session lasts 30 minutes. Rage room statistics in the USA counts prices, session lengths, age limits, what gets smashed, the tools and gear supplied, and the group events venues mention.

Per-person and per-session prices are counted separately, because the two aren't directly comparable.
